I'm excited to run for City Council as your representative.
Since moving here in 2019, I've spent countless hours exploring our trails, learning our history, and listening to what makes this community tick. Big Bear Lake is a truly special place - one that deserves careful stewardship and genuine appreciation. I'm running because I want to be part of that effort.
Why my experience matters:
As a manufacturing engineer, I design complex systems with large teams - translating hard problems into reliable, on-budget solutions (I work remotely at my home in Big Bear Lake).
As Secretary of Bear Valley Search and Rescue, I understand emergency preparedness and team coordination.
On the City's General Plan Advisory Committee, I'm already helping shape long-term City policy.
On the City Council, I will work to:
Maintain the fiscal health of the City
Balance the needs of residents and visitors
Ensure smooth fire protection transition
Improve mobility in the City, especially on the west end (that's us!)
Guide the City's General Plan update to ensure a sustainable future
I'd be honored to have your support. But regardless of how you vote, please find ways to get involved - volunteer, attend meetings, check in on neighbors. That's how Big Bear Lake thrives.
Thank you,
Cody Lewis
